And we were told about it explicitly in Scripture.
There’s NOTHING in Scripture that indicates Mary was assumed.
No mention of it does not mean you can make it up and teach it to be true. *The Bible doesn’t say it didn’t happen so we can presume it did.* is NOT a strong defense. There are lots of things the Bible doesn’t say that didn’t happen. That doesn’t mean they did.
So what happened to the other apostles and disciples? The bible only mentions the death of a few. By your logic they’re immortal.
