When I first posted this, I didn’t make any comments. It was really late.
HOWEVER, as someone on the combox points out, this jackass is distributing Communion on the hand BY INTINCTION. Watch the first part closely.
To everyone… when you take videos with your phone, use the horizonal position. Crank up quality when you think it might be important.

Everyone should see this.
Bishop Joaquim Mol, Auxiliary of Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte (Brazil), Salesian. He just confirmed her. He denies Communion because she knelt. BECAUSE SHE KNELT.
Ping
What a jerk!
What would be the theological reasoning as to why she was denied communion?
Yet he would likely have no issue serving communion to politician that advocates a “Woman’s Right to Choose” or is openly living in sin.
Scandal doesn’t carry the weight in the Church that it once did.
Regrettably
Insufficient synodality score.
In distributing Holy Communion it is to be remembered that “sacred ministers may not deny the sacraments to those who seek them in a reasonable manner, are rightly disposed, and are not prohibited by law from receiving them”. [177] Hence any baptized Catholic who is not prevented by law must be admitted to Holy Communion. Therefore, it is not licit to deny Holy Communion to any of Christ’s faithful solely on the grounds, for example, that the person wishes to receive the Eucharist kneeling or standing. -- Paragraph 91
I think Balaam's ass would not do that ...
Nothing theological.
It’s 100% ideological.
The bishop is a dyed-in-the-wool arch-modernist.
Receiving on the tongue while kneeling remains the universal norm for Holy Mother Church. Local indults can produce different local norms, but those are exceptions that must be approved by Rome alone. Unfortunately almost the entire globe is covered by such local indults.
So, the girl did right.
The Bishop was in the wrong.
Good to know there is grace within Catholic church theology.
I would have given the girl communion, unless there were theological grounds for denying it. I’m on the side of grace of these issues, because people are imperfect.
She’s This Guy’s hero, that’s for sure.
This girl has no doubt been receiving the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar on the tongue and while healing since her very First Communion.
With the courage she showed in not budging despite the bishop misbehaving like a small child, she will no doubt never, ever in her life allow her unconsecrated hands to touch the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord, Jesus Christ, leaving it only to an ordained priest distributing it directly on her tongue while she is kneeling, the most reverent posture possible.
while kneeling (we’re all healing!).
