The only thing the Left (i.e., Democrat/Communists) understand and respect is force -- the determined, direct and uncompromising use of physical force. As demonstrated clearly time and again, anything less than force is, in the minds of Democrat/Communists, a sign of weakness and fear; the last Democrat/Communists fear is "tough talk" and "harsh letters". Many times, particularly when dealing with the GOP, the Democrat/Communists are absolutely right in their assessment of the "opposition party."
