Everyone knows that Karl Marx was a Jew, and most people realize that both Lenin and Stalin were partially Jewish. But many do not realize that the majority of the leading fifty men who seized control of Russia in the Bolshevik Revolution were also Jews.

Since then, however, there has been a systematic purge of Jewish leadership within the Communist Party in Russia, primarily instigated by Stalin.

Stalin murdered everyone -- tens of millions -- mostly gentiles. But because so many Bolsheviks were Jewish (as the article observes) a disproportionate number of the purged were Jewish.

We cannot identify with certainty the reasons for this deep-rooted antagonism between communist leaders and the Jews.

The article just observed that the "communist leaders" were mostly Jewish.

It could be nationalism—that is, Russian communists do not trust non-Russians. Consequently, they might have used the Jews to foment revolution early in the century, then have them systematically removed from positions of power.

Leaders use followers, not visa versa. Jews used Russians to foment revolution against the Tsar. Afterward, Russian Bolsheviks turned on the Jews.

But quite possibly, the communists felt intimidated by the intellectual gifts of their Jewish comrades.

You mean the "intellectual gift" to lead a Bolshevik revolution that murdered tens of millions?

This article acknowledges that Jews played an oversized role in the Bolshevik Revolution, but feels queasy about saying so.

But I don't feel too sympathetic to any Bolshevik murdered by fellow Bolsheviks, Jewish or gentile.

I also don't believe that Russia plays a part in Bible prophecy.
