Start by pointing to the scripture that says Mary can hear prayer.

This is the Captain Obvious part that you guys threw out.

It doesn't say anywhere in Scripture that Sunday is the day of worship or rest, but Protestants all run off to church on Sunday.

I think you are being flexible with your rigor.

The early Christians gathered on the first day of the week which was Sunday. The day of the resurrection.
