Of course they did. It is imperative to be free to mutilate and screw up minors. One of the basic liberties, to F things up.

The 14th Amendment and the whole notion of “substantive due process” has been turned into a bottomless cesspit of judicial tyranny. Use of that undefined notion authorizes any judge to throw out any law he or she deems unfair or which violates his or her own sense of perverted decorum.

I'm old enough to remember when the Left opposed the sexual mutilation of children. They ran PR campaigns against it, enacted laws against it. But now they're all for it, provided it's the right kind.

Will the judge allow a eye plucking ritual of a Christian group because of a literal belief in the above scripture. How would people handle the blinding of children using broken glass bottles and no pain killers? How would people tolerate the side effects?
