If you don’t like the word “scoffer” what would you recommend as the alternative for one who does those things?
I recommend that people learn the difference between “scoffing” and reasoned disagreement.
I further recommend that people refrain from “poisoning the well” by preemptively dismissing disagreement with obvious personal insults.
Deal with the issue, not the person.
It’s part of being an adult ... a rare skill these days.
