Yes, this...
And...

"36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[c]
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d]
40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Obey these new Covenant Commandments, saved or being saved...
and the Moses 10 are superfluous.
Jesus has fulfilled the Law and the Prophets.

>>>>The “law” is the Standard of righteousness.....NOT THE METHOD. - I would say Jesus is my righteousness according to the Word of God and faith in Jesus the propitiation for my sin is the method.

As you see, we agree on many things.>>>

Thank you for your honesty and I appreciate your and respect your views. You say Jesus is your righteosness......agree. He is my righteousness too. Amen. But in the context of obedience to a standard, the Ten Commandments are the standard. I Believe you are Roman Catholic and your catechism upholds the Ten Commandments as the standard of righteousness to be obeyed. I agree with that.

We do agree on much. Thank you. I appreciate your tone.

If only “new Covenant” folks would study the Bible. They actually believe “love God” and “love your neighbor” are new. Its as if Dueterononmy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18 are not in their Bibles.

And because they aren’t very studied, they have managed to talk themselves out of the 10 commandments, even calling them superfulous. The 10 commandments virtually every Protestant Reformer upheld and even Rome upholds.

Finally, they think when Jesus “fulfilled” the law, they interpret that to mean he released us from the law. It’s amazing they can’t read the Bible.

When the woman was caught in adultery and brought to Jesus.....what did he do? He delivered her from the law by forgiving her.....and then sent her back to the law by telling her “Go and sin no more.”

New Coveant theology is the most amateurish shallow superficial nonsensical Bible theology in history of the church. The Protestant Reformers who kept the wrong day in the right way.....would laugh at it.

You wrote: Are they [your doctors] going to Hell for saving my life on a Sunday? ... **I question the Church’s authority and “wisdom” on this.**

Since the Church’s stance had been explained in an earlier post, I assumed you had access to it when I replied, but when I went back to check, I saw it was just before yours so you may not have seen it.

On the other hand, sheesh, why would you believe some random thing on the internet about Church teaching?

Justin Martyr described the mass and noted it was celebrated on Sunday. 150 AD.

>>>>Justin Martyr described the mass and noted it was celebrated on Sunday. 150 AD.>>>>

Exactly. Sunday keeping gradually came into the church well after the apostolic church. Nothing about Sunday holiness in the Bible. Nothing.

In fact, the actual commemoration of the ressurection is baptism. We come up born again, resurrected in a way. And Rome even got that wrong with infant baptism. A deception by Satan to keep people from making an informed decision to follow Christ. Millions believing infant baptism fulfilled that beautiful decision to follow Christ.

Justin Martyr is nothing to me when he or whoever conflicts with scripture. I’m not interested in nonBiblical tradition.

Thank you.

The Moses 10? Christ calls them “My” commandments.

The law of God, that all mankind will be judged by, is superfluous?

You’ll see what Tradition means.

Not what you think...

Traditions. Gr. paradoseis (see on Mark 7:3). The word means things delivered, handed over, or transmitted by way of teaching or doctrine. The prominent idea of the word is one of authority above that of the teacher; therefore, here it refers to inspired messages received by Paul and his companions and faithfully passed on to the Thessalonians.

——>Jesus is our Sabbath rest. There is no longer a day set aside.

Christ says otherwise...

Matthew 5:

17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Keep Sunday? Not so! Those who worship on Saturday keep “the day”.

Those who gather on Sunday honor THE RESURRECTION, not the day.

Those who worship on the 7th-day-Sabbath and keep the day holy, as Christ commanded, obey Christ as Creator.

Those who don’t, or worship on Sunday, don’t.

Others showed that the early Gentile church was worshiping on Sunday well before Constantine.

No, you got your clocks cleaned by Sabbath keepers.

Fulfilled means exactly what?

Fulfilled means exactly what?

Saying "Indeed" was meant to convey agreement. I can see it was a poor word choice. I should have said "Amen."

Among other things, the law and prophets speak of man's condition, God's standard for holiness and God's promise of Redemption through a Redeemer.

Jesus fulfilled the Law and Prophets because He is the promised Redeemer spoken of by the prophets; He walked perfectly in the Spirit (not letter) in keeping the Law.

"The word “fulfill” is the hinge on which Matt 5:17 turns. ...The verb translated “fulfill” did not mean “obey. Rather, the word “fulfill” meant to bring to a designed goal, to fill up and complete, to bring to full expression. Jesus was declaring that he fulfilled the prophecies and even the patterns of Scripture; he showed forth their true meaning." - Excerpt from: https://www.logos.com/grow/jesus-fulfilled-the-law-but-what-does-that-mean/

How do you feel about this description?

To fulfil. Gr. plēroō, “to make full,” “to fill full.” In the Sermon on the Mount the Author of the law made clear the true meaning of its precepts, and the way in which its precepts, would find expression in the thinking and living of citizens of the kingdom He had come to establish (see on Isa. 59:7). The great Lawgiver Himself now reaffirmed the pronouncements of Sinai as binding upon those who would be His subjects, and announced that anyone who should presume to annul them either by precept or by example would “in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 5:20).

The assertion that by fulfilling the moral law Christ abrogated that law is not in harmony with the context of Christ’s statement. Such an interpretation denies the meaning Christ obviously intended to convey, by making Him virtually say, contradictorily, that He did not come to “destroy” the law, but by fulfilling it to “abrogate” it! The interpretation ignores the strong antithesis in the word alla, “but,” and makes the two ideas virtually synonymous! By fulfilling the law Christ simply “filled” it “full” of meaning—by giving men an example of perfect obedience to the will of God, in order that the same law “might be fulfilled [plēroō] in us” (Rom. 8:3, 4).

Ezekiel 46:1 is how..

Rome doesn’t have a New Moon Day like the Creator does.

The Creator has a New Moon Day (today btw, thanks to the sighting of the newest sliver crescent yesterday)..

This is a day that Ezekiel was given instructions to have the inner gate facing East, to be opened.

Then the 6 work days that followed, the gate would be shut..
Then on the 7th Day Sabbath, the gate would be opened.

See below:

Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.

Rome and its Sun worship ignores His Day of the New Moon every of its solar months..

Rome ignores a day, every month, that according to scripture, isn’t one of His 6 work days or His Sabbath..

Rome isn’t alone.
Islam doesn’t know it’s a set apart day.
Neither does Judaism.

If they had the Word Made Flesh, the Passover Lamb, they could know the Truth..

But they too, follow Rome.

The whole world does..

Today is the first day of His 4th month if we were telling time as Moses. Or the first day of His 10th month, if we were telling time like Noah.

According to scripture, the gate at the temple is to be open.

According to Rome, the gate would be shut because they call today a work day.

According to scripture, yesterday was His 29th Day of His 3rd month, His 7th Day Sabbath in His 4th work week.

According to Rome, yesterday was their 1st work day.

Remember the Sabbath becomes a real tough thing to do if Rome is allowed the authority of time, as they don’t care about a Day of the New Moon.
They have Moon Day, June 19th instead..

That’s why Vespa follows Rome.

The Pope Gregory calendar counterfeits time too.
One bible verse proves it..

Changing times and law is a daily, week, monthly and annual thing for Daniel’s 4th Beast and Antichrist..

If there was a temple in Jerusalem today, the instruction would be to open the gate.

Jerusalem’s Islamic shrine and mosque might have its doors open today, but no Ezekiel’s temple and no priest, to read Ezekiel and wonder which to do:
Open the gate because the scriptures say so, or close the gate because Rome and its Antichrist calendar says so..

Times and law is more than just Saturday/Sunday.

Every Roman day, week, month are false.
They are the world’s reality, but not His.,

——>Ezekiel 46:1 is how..

Compare Ezekiel 45 (the entire chapter)

Ceremonial ordinances/statues/laws.

The only day ever to be blessed, made holy, and sanctified, is the 7th-day-Sabbath.

Where in the Bible is anyone authorized to make any book of the New Testament into "Scripture"?

Where in the Bible does it tell you which books are New Testament Scripture?

(The Table of Contents is not part of the inspired text!)

If you don't like the Church changing the Christian day of rest to Sunday, you ought not to like them raising books written by Christians to the same (actually higher, in regards to the 4 Gospels) level as the Tanakh.

If you're going to Judaize, at least do it right.
