I just wish they would stop using 100-year-old cameras with lousy black-and-white film when trying to take photos of alien space ships.
No, the Bible does not, outside the sighting by Ezekiel, say anything about UFOs. However, the Old Testament writers do not mention the Greek civilization that coexisted with Israel and certainly the two nations communicated, traded, etc.
Exodus 15:3 - “The LORD is a man of war...”
Just who is He fighting, or fought? Certainly not the human race.
Genesis 6 certainly gets into extraterrestials.
Oh yes…
Beings from light-years away, also light-years ahead of us regarding intelligence, technology and everything else..
- travel BILLIONS of miles to come here - and hide from us…
Okey dokie, then!
Sheds light on so many difficult passages in the Bible. Very helpful book. God bless.
1994 was about the time President Bush
President George Herbert Walker Push was in office3 1988-1992.
1994, Slick Willy was President.
But, I believe that G.H.W. Bush was promoting the “New World Order” when he was with the CIA back in the 60’s. I might be wrong, though.
When did Gore start to go on his climate crusade? Must have been well after 94?
I still think this fits into that time frame. Bush pushing for a New World Order and Rev. Gore preaching sermons on climate change…. And then for good measure, a staged event using a more advanced life form coming to earth to warn us by, using children because they are innocent and believable… just like Greta Thunberg. This whole thing stinks.
Ona side note. I’m also noticing the government starting to centralize the military and other government agencies. I suppose that makes it easier if someone or some group wanting to control America.
Forgive the long post but I needed to vent a little.
I read a book back in the early 80’s entitled Close Encounters a Better Explanation. About 1/3 of the book was bibliography. Was very interesting and well documented. Can’t remember the author’s name at this point in time. He looked at not just UFOs but all paranormal phenomena (Big Foot, Loch Ness monster, Sasquatch, etc.). He interviewed many of the ‘true believers’ in ufology. Many, not all, realized that the evidence didn’t seem to point to ‘little green men from outer space.’ In almost all the encounters, with what he concluded were demonic entities, the outcomes were all negative - animals died, food spoiled, electrical equipment and machinery like automobiles stopped working, and people were greatly traumatized. The encounters had a lot of similarities with other paranormal events as well. What we would call ‘normal laws of physics’ did not apply as sited by Jimenez and others here.
My dad (who worked for NASA, smart guy) and my grandfather used to go over to Assateague Island, VA, from Chincoteague by small boat when my dad was a boy. A couple of times when they went they encountered long, cigar shaped, balls of fire that would appear on the beach. Missionaries from my church told us of lights that would appear in trees to the native tribes they were working with and speak to the locals threatening them and causing great fear among those people.
Satan is described in scripture as the prince of the power of the air. It is said he can disguise himself as an angel of light. Also, in Genesis 6, the angles that kept not their first estate cohabited with human women. Their offspring were the Nephilim - a giant type race. Elisha in II Kings 6:17-20, prays to have the eyes of his servant opened so he might see the angelic forces with horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha to fight for him. Of course we’re way too sophisticated in our modern era to fall for all those types of superstitious fairy tales, right? Besides, modern minds are brilliant, way smarter and know more than at any time in history, right? We might know more but smarter…? There are about 3 genetic mutations between father and son/s. We are a hothouse variety of human species. We’re a copy of a copy of a copy - even with the codes to help prevent these mutations. So maybe, just maybe we aren’t as sharp as we might like to believe. And maybe people in the past were wiser than today. And really, it’s not a matter of brains or the lack thereof.
Naturalists, who basically say, “Give me one miracle (the Big Bang) and I can explain the rest.” are stuck with naturalistic explanations and disregard the miraculous as being the product of weak minds who need comforting little stories to help them along life’s way. Their god, of course, is Time. Given enough time ANYTHING can happen. Immaterial to living things? They can’t even build a functioning cell and according to Dr. James Tour, the task looks insurmountable - no matter how much time. He says they have no idea.
Time will tell, but I’m pretty sure the events being described, that truly can’t be explained away, are most likely fallen spiritual beings entering into our realm or somehow distorting it. Their goal of course is to deceive people and keep them from believing God’s truth about our condition as humans and about the condition of our world and turning to Christ in repentance. Could they land a space craft and declare to all the world that evolution is true and there is no God? I, of course, don’t know but the Bible indicates that the last days will be a time of great deception and whatever it is, in the short run, it’s bad. It sounds crazy but in Revelation it talks about a future time when an angel flies from one end of the heavens (sky) to the other proclaiming the everlasting gospel of the Kingdom of God - yet no one repents. So even in seeing with their own eyes and hearing with their own ears, they still choose to reject God. That, my friend, is a very hard heart and stubborn attitude.
Many atheists hope UFOs are real bc they think it would refute Christianity.
UFOs are mentioned in the Bible. The one I remember is Ezekiel’s wheel.
