The title is a bit of a stretch. The Pope said nothing about abortion clauses in SDGs. He should have pointed them out and criticized them, of course. But he didn't say anything about contraceptives and abortion being a way to save mother earth from the scourge of humanity.

I get it. The clown in Peter's chair is a Globalist, Marxists enviro-nut. He's going to have a lot to answer for. But such a misleading title doesn't do much for LifeSite's credibility.

The SDGs cover a whole panoply of issues, including but not limited to abortion. The pope endorsed the whole lot of them, which means including the ones relating to abortion. No chance he would have singled them out for comment or criticism. To him it’s the whole green world view, as he wrote out at dreary length in Laudate si. A fairly distorted world view, but harmonious with the rest of the global elitists with whom he identifies.
