If you've never read George Nash's "Intellectual Conservative Movement in America Since 1945' I strongly urge you to do so. In its pages you will discover that America's strongest conservative leaders began much like Wolf in terms of the ideological systems they advocated: socialism, progressivism, communism; anarchy, etc. It was the catastrophic destruction, massive deaths, and other evils that devastated Western civilization and areas of the world through application of those very ideologies (WWII) that led these men to reject their favored ideologies and turn to the defense of Western civilization and its foundation in Christianity. Many of these men converted to Christianity.
All humans have within themselves the capacity to reject the wrong way and turn to the right way. With respect to Naomi Wolf, we ought to hope she is in process of rejecting her wrong beliefs and moving to the embrace of morally higher beliefs as did the original conservative leaders.

The people George Nash wrote about weren’t sloppy thinking poseurs which is what Naomi Wolf has been as she flits from fad to fad.
If you’re comparing her to James Burnham you have judgement issues
To imply that her not having an MD is disposative of all her writings on the jabs, yes.
The point made was definitely NOT about writing styles and sloppy thinking, that is your sloppy presumption, but about our capacity to change for the better.
If you’re comparing her to James Burnham you have judgement issues
Nowhere have I compared her to Burnham. Burnham is your presumption, so do not find me guilty of your presumptiouness.
I think she’s wacky but I don’t doubt the agenda she exposes.
“Nowhere have I compared her to Burnham. Burnham is your presumption, so do not find me guilty of your presumptiouness.”
Oh really? Well you compare her with the subjects of Nash’s book saying this:
” I strongly urge you to do so. In its pages you will discover that America’s strongest conservative leaders began much like Wolf in terms of the ideological systems they advocated: socialism, progressivism, communism; anarchy, etc.”
Burnham began life as a Marxist. Who else featured in Nash’s book do you think fits your “ism” list besides Burnham? Whittaker Chambers? Frank Meyer? Those two might work. The rest don’t.
It wouldn’t matter because even Wolf’s old fembot pals regard her as an intellectual lightweight whose PhD thesis was garbage.
Who cares about her personality if she has a team of people helping her get the information out to the public. Forest meet trees.
For heavens sakes! So Burnham began as a Marxist. So what! He has no place here but in your overheated imagination and presumptuous projections. This is my final response to you.
Agree. But evil can have a powerful effect on the lost and pull them over to the right side where a change for good can be effected. It's my hope this will be the case with her.
Amen!
