"And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
"These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful."
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
Revelation, Chapter 17
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
1 Timothy, Chapter 3
1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
13 For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.
14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:
15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Amen 🙏🏻!!!!
Notes: an argument for post-trib, for your consideration.
I used to be pre-trib but changed to mid-trib (after the two witnesses) but now I’m post-trib. I can’t see God, wanting all to be saved, making people disappear and allowing those who are left behind suffer calamity.
Evidence that the return of Christ will occur near the end of the seven year tribulation include many events where God protected his chosen. The seven seals (Daniel’s sealed scroll) and the seven trumpets are Satan’s wrath unleashed upon the world (and God’s chosen who are sealed). Satan’s hatred fuels his rage against the Living God.
After the seventh trumpet sounds (the last Trump), then Christ will return. The seven bowls are God’s wrath against Satan and his angels.
Christians will be protected during the tribulation (there is a light in the land of Goshen) but many will be martyred during the great persecution of Daniels’s 70th week.
Daniel’s friends are protected in the fiery furnace. Jesus Christ was there with them.
God protected Daniel when he was thrown into the lions’ den.
During the 12 plagues of Egypt,
the plague of hail hit Egypt hard. The only place where it did not hail was in the land of Goshen, where the Israelites lived.
During three days of darkness, there was no light in Egypt, the Egyptians could not see in front of their faces. The darkness was so deep it could be felt. The Egyptians could not even light a fire, fires would quickly go out. Yet all the Israelites had light in their dwellings.
The first 3.5 years will be a false peace as the two witnesses deliver their message for the world to repent. They may be two Old Testament saints or two called out of the Great Tribulation.
The Antichrist will consolidate his power under a one-world government.
The Antichrist will break his deal with Israel and kill the two witnesses. But God will resurrect them after three day and call them up to heaven.
The second 3.5 years will like hell on Earth. Men will seek death but it will flee from them. The restrainer will be removed and the Nephilim will walk the Earth like in the days of Noah.
Jesus will return with his angels and everybody will see him in the sky, near the end of the tribulation. The dead in Christ will be raised, then those who are alive in Christ will be translated.
Jesus Christ will complete the vengeance of our God by destroying the Antichrist and his followers with a consuming fire. The Devil will be chained for a thousand years, Christ will restore the earth to its original beauty and reign on earth as King (paradise returns to the Earth).
Amen.
Thanks, Faith.
