Why must it be that spiritual emptiness will accept so readily the satanic over the genuinely righteous spirit of the only true God? It so saddens me that people choose to spend eternity in a place of perpetual torment. The time is almost at an end to choose life with a merciful savior.

I think the easy answer is itching ears seek out what they want to hear. Demonic forces don't hold us accountable for sin, they simply help us to continue in the "I'm a good person" mode. And you're right, the time is almost at an end to make the correct decision.
