This week I rewatched "Stand and Deliver", and the very first thing Jaime Escalante taught his class was, "A negative times a negative equals a positive." So, as I understand it, John, you are claiming that Señor Escalante is the God of Math?

...how such an excellent, inspiring teacher was so opposed by the establishment...

Humans crucify that which they don't understand...because that ignorance breeds fear...fear of losing 'place' or 'position'. I was blessed in my upbringing, and my ignorance was taught to breed curiosity, instead.
