I believe are modern day Gnostics. It is why they believe society should be willing to extinguish itself for the perfecting of society.
First will come the cyborgs, human beings re-engineered to overcome physical frailties with bionic components. Then on to full AI, vastly outstripping the human speed of calculation and response times.
“Gender” will be lost somewhere back there in the dust. It is even now being made obsolete, or at least, “unimportant”.
If people do not choose to use gender properly, like freedom, it, too, shall be lost, perhaps forever.
Yes, they are pagan Gnostics. In their view of reality, they (Gnostics) are on the side of good and their mandate is to purge the world of evil. Evil takes many forms: genetic evil (white 'racists'), private property ownership, use of fossil fuels, social constructs; guns (mystical guns kill), and so on. Cleansing the world of all evil requires, among other evils, extermination of all genetically evil hominids---products of evolution working on matter.
