There is little purpose in prayer if we do not fully believe God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.
I am persuaded that God delights in generously pouring out blessings upon his beloved children. David the psalmist insisted that God is bountiful and inclined to compassion, that his mercy is great and that it is impossible for him to reject any who implore him for his help.
The Lord rejoices in pardoning sins; he is always propitious. Webster’s Dictionary defines propitious as “kind, gracious, merciful, helpful.” It also says propitious means “favorable as a propitious breeze.” For the Lord’s children, this means “I am the God of ‘yes,’ of hope, help, favor and goodness!” This is the glorious, loving God that we serve.
One of my favorite passages of scripture is “Oh, how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have prepared for those who trust in you in the presence of the sons of men! You shall hide them in the secret place of your presence from the plots of man; you shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues” (Psalm 31:19-20, NKJV).
Think of it! First, God says we must believe he is a rewarder of faith. Then the psalmist tell us, “Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you…who trust in you.”
Think of that storehouse of great goodness! It is goodness laid up for God’s people, not only in heaven but now in our daily walk.
I pray this every day: “Lord, you promised to reward my faith if I will trust you before the sons of men, but I need what you promised. I need fresh strength and new hope, more of the peace that passes all understanding. Lord, I ask only for what you have promised. It is the highest goodness to have a fresh manifestation of your sweet presence. This is what I desire as my reward.”

Tying 666 to God as a rewarder? Really?
Hey, not my choice.
I didn’t write them. I just post them.
Tying 666 to God as a rewarder? Really?
Glad you asked. Regardless of anyone's beliefs in these matters, here are a few observations across the board (it's an interplanetary discipline):
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Here's the passage describing the half shekel (aka Temple tax). It was a gift -- an offering for the upkeep of the sanctuary, and for the atonement of souls. It's the kind of thing that ought to make people want to check under the couch and La-Z-Boy cushions.
The emphazised phrase (which itself is a numbering of souls) = 666
Exodus 30
11 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
12 When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them.
13 This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered [כל־העבר על־הפקדים], half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD.
14 Every one that passeth among them that are numbered [כל העבר על־הפקדים], from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.
15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
16 And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
Within the Jewish world is the concept of "a thing and its opposite". The subject is beyond the scope of this reply, but here's the classic Messiah = snake example:
One snake that stands out historically is the first one, THE snake, the one that convinced Chava to eat from the Aitz HaDa'as Tov v'Ra, the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, against God's will. Thanks to his ruse and advice, Mankind was sent into the longest exile to date, the one that won't conclude until Moshiach ends it. Hence, the gematria of Moshiach (40+300+10+8) and nachash (50+300+8) are equal, 358, since they represent two opposite sides of the same coin. The snake caused us to go into exile and Moshiach will bring us out of exile.
This intersection of two closely related concepts, the snake and Moshiach, greatly increases the odds that the code is not random.
Within the Christian world and beyond into popular culture, 666 represents all things evil, analogous to the nachash being the opposite of the Messiah. Yet nachash = Mashiach.
This intersection of two closely related concepts:
The modern half shekel coin has a value of 50 agorot. "Agorot" [אגורות] = 616
50 agorot: 666 [נ' אגורות].
The image on the modern half shekel is based on a stone seal from the period dating to the First Temple. And as with the ancient, traditional literature concerning the legitimacy of King David himself, expert consensus is that the seal is a fraud. That's quite a story on its own, but the representative harp image on the seal came with the owner's name: Ma'adanah bat haMelech [מעדנה בת המלך]
Ma'adanah, daughter of the king = 666
Psalms 118:22 The stone the builders refused is become [for] the head of the corner. l'rosh pinah [לראש פנה] = 666
66610 = 35814, which is the base system retained in this day for a stone weight. David [דוד] = 14, and a base is a foundation, as well as a word play on the Ashkenazi pronunciation of "house" (as in the Temple, the Beis HaMikdash).
Thus the House of David is, numerically, "Beis 14."
The stone or stone weight (abbreviation: st.)[1] is an English and imperial unit of mass equal to 14 pounds (6.35 kg).[nb 1] The stone continues in customary use in the United Kingdom for body weight.
>>>The name "stone" derives from the use of stones for weights, a practice that dates back into antiquity. The Biblical law against the carrying of "diverse weights, a large and a small"[7] is more literally translated as "you shall not carry a stone and a stone (אבן ואבן), a large and a small".
As a general sentiment, the Messiah is the embodiment of the whole Torah. He *is* the Law.
All the Torah [כל התורה] = 666
(What *doesn't* he know?)

The basic idea behind a fake anything is for it to mimic the real deal, or the confident expectations of what something is supposed to look like. A fake Rolex says "Rolex", not "Timex". Of course with any of that flea market stuff, minimal closer inspection reveals the deception. The fact that the counterfeit merchandise is sold in the flea markets for a small price should be enough of a tell, but in the world where forgery is actually a fine art, knowledge and wisdom (discernment) is power.
I mention this because the above 666 examples are in redemption and Messianic contexts, and the basic idea behind a fake anything is for it to mimic the real thing.
Which leads to a grand irony about the "fake" seal. One proof-of-forgery is that the instrument is not like any other discovered from antiquity. And worse in the oh-nos department, it is structurally incorrect, and would have collapsed upon being tuned. (Hey, everyone knows that a logo or icon is going to be literally accurate. Salvi's logo would have exposed those pretend harpmakers for sure.)
Another point is that the name "Ma'adanah" -- while having a known root (the same as for Eden) -- has never appeared anywhere else either. Seems like a forger would have picked a name that looks legit, one not likely to draw any scrutiny. "Miriam" would have served that purpose.
Experts. Yikes. What don't they know.
Midnight oil is not sold in stores, which is why it doesn't run out and will continue to light the way even when there's been a total infrastucture collapse.
What If an Israeli National Symbol Is a Fake?
The trouble with the Maadana lyre.
A liar is a shakran [שקרן], which = 650, the same as
"proof by contradition", lit. proof by way of negation [הוכחה בדרך השלילה].
Gotta laugh.
Willie Nelson wrote a magnificent, haunting song about this.
"Pay heed and disbelieve."

Hope this helps.
Rec 13:18 “Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.”
I don’t understand how the number 666 was used in this article.
Suppose the verse stated that "the number of the serpent is 358."
That's a fact in Hebrew gematria. Yet it's also the sum of "Messiah".
What he have here, like with the letter sums, is a situation where only one side of the coin is shown.
Perhaps the simple meaning is that it's a test who will take half-truths and run with them, having no interest or curiosity about any other perspectives. Take the "Orange Man Bad" mantra for example -- any good word doesn't fit the narrative and so its blocked and rejected outright.
Like on social media... people will demonize a business and then readers simply accept the one lone side of a story and spread the hate and judgment.
Weird stuff going on out there these days.
