I would say that the Whore of Babylon in the Scriptures (Revelation, for the thread) is a city. Could be. I think it is the banking system(s). the PIIGS (Prtugal, Itasly, Ireland, Greece & Spain) countries are wrecklessly overleveraged. IF there is a black swan event, like Chicago getting nuked, it would start a cascade of disasters.
