Check out Nigeria, they now have a CBDC in place and have outlawed cash. To force people to use the CBDC they made it so you could not by food except with the CBDC. This was done by limiting cash to $44.00 per month, the average Nigerian family needs approximately $40.00 per day to live. Upon original rollout of CBDC there was only .05% acceptance among the people. However after the cash limit and the starvation that followed, acceptance of CBDC went to over 60%.
