I would say that the Whore of Babylon in the Scriptures (Revelation, for the thread) is a city.

That being said, America is doing an excellent impersonation of Babylon. In many ways.

And that is definitely not a good thing.

There was a great shaking on 09/11/2001 and another in 2008.

And there are people trying for a repeat of Genesis chapter 19.

Unbelievable.

Jack, America began with 13 Colonies like Christ and His 12.

America grew to 50 states, as the New Covenant Church grew at 50.

Substitute America with ‘New Covenant Church ‘ in to your equation..

The Whore is an interesting study. Wears all the colors the Priesthood would wear, except one - Blue.

Blue was a color the Priest and Israelites would wear to remind them of His Commandments (Numbers 15:38-40). Lawfulness vs lawlessness.

Maybe lawlessness in America is a testimony of the lawlessness in the modern ‘New Covenant Church’.

Speak to the people of Israel, and tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a cord of blue on the tassel of each corner. 39And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the LORD, to do them, not to followe after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after. 40So you shall remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God. 41I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God: I am the LORD your God.”

The New Covenant Church was delivered out of Spiritual Egypt bondage by the blood the Passover Lamb, as Israel was delivered from bondage from literal Egypt.

A lawless Church riding a Beast in the end times.

Maybe it’s not an accident America appears to have a lawlessness problem in places when law and order is the biblical answer.

So is Justice instead of current Just Us.

Who gets right?
America?
The Church?
Both?
Neither?

Both would appear to have to get right for Israel’s sake if some part of bible prophecy comes to pass again.

Where is America in bible prophecy is an interesting question.

It may not be able to separate itself from the Church because of its foundation and founding.
