Can. 1367 A person who throws away the consecrated species or takes or retains them for a sacrilegious purpose incurs a latae sententiae excommunication reserved to the Apostolic See; moreover, a cleric can be punished with another penalty, not excluding dismissal from the clerical state.
A priest who reacts with contumely when a parishioner approaches wishing to receive on the tongue has serious problems with effeminacy and may be, not merely SSA, but actively engaged in homosexual activity. It seems to be a “thing” with them—they react erratically when communicants open their mouths to receive the consecrated Host. Just try to receive from a priest like this both on the tongue, AND while kneeling. The drama factor goes through the roof.
