Ramadan means nothing to me
I can’t imagine why the Vatican would know what is, and isn’t, important to Christians.
Years back, I worked with a man from Bangladesh. He was a muslim.
I came to work early one morning, and when I walked into the construction site office trailer, he was taping up newspaper and tin foil over all the trailer windows.
I asked him what ta heck he was doing. He then commenced to telling me that it was the start of Ramadan and that IF the windows were all taped up, Allah couldn’t see in, and we’d be good to eat anything that we wanted without fear of being killed.
I asked him if he was serious....he was serious.
I wasn’t living for the Lord back in those days, but I still told him that I didn’t fear some piss ant god that couldn’t see thru newspaper and that the real God could, and that the real God didn’t care what we ate.....
The office manager made him take all the newspaper down except for the small office room window where the muslim guy actually worked. It was crazy.
Huh???????
False religions, false prophets, and false gods are to be shunned, not praised.
