Show me where Jesus or the apostles taught us that as a means to apprehend our healing.

Nor did Abraham and Sarah make any positive confessions.

God made them a specific promise of something, a son, and they believed it. That is not deciding for God what he is going to do for you then holding Him hostage to their will.

Nobody has shown me anywhere where Jesus told someone to make positive confessions about healing. I have yet to see where the apostles taught it some where in any of the epistles.

All my requests for such support from Scripture and the questions I asked about my friend’s baby and the church’s pastor have been totally ignored and/or side stepped.

All I get after hearing about how life and death is in the power of the tongue is negative confessions of the worst kind of judgment and condemnation spoken over me.

What kind of Christian character does that if they really believed what they claim?

metmom Abraham and Sarah’s names where their cofession. Confession mean to say the same thing and their names were what God said. So, they did confess what God said. But, here are some from The New Testament:

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus.

That word profession means confession Strongs Concordance #3671.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. That word salvation means to save, deliver, protect, heal, preserve, make whole.

Jesus said in Mark 5:34, “Your faith has made you whole(same word)”. What she kept saying and what she did made her whole.

And Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:13 that when you believe you speak. 13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak. So, if you believe the word you will speak it. Even Jesus said, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. That concerns anything including healing.
