Tell it to Mr. Robinson or you or me and the plenty that are out of bed now because of sickness/pain.
Hang on a sec ... Gotta push down more pills and hope for some kind of relief somewhere ...
Sorry. I’m back.
I wonder why people who can heal because they say their faith is stronger than the rest never have the time to visit innocent sick children who are in the hospital dying of cancer. Where are they who believe that a miracle is coming for those children? When God chooses to heal one in a thousand, does that mean the other little children didn’t have enough faith and so He said “no” to the requests for healing that little one? For that matter, what of the little babies that don’t make it to birth?
Jesus healed because HE chose to heal,. Not because He told people to name it and claim it, to take authority over their bodies, or to make positive confessions that they were healthy when they weren’t. There is not ONE instance in Scripture where Jesus or the apostles taught that we become healed by positive confession, declaring it to be so, or *taking authority over one’s body. * NOTHING. I have asked a couple times for examples out of Scripture and gotten deafening silence.
When He healed, the person’s circumstances changed immediately. They didn’t have to convince themselves they were well while they were still sick.
Interesting that the comparison is made to being saved by faith and being healed by faith. I wonder if those who claim healing is by declaring it to be so think that way about salvation. That they are saved by declaring it so therefore God must save them.
Whatever happened to repentance and confession of sin and accepting Christ? Or do they just order God around and demand they be saved because they speak it to be so?
