Franz-Josef Bode, bishop of the Osnabrück diocese and vice-president of the German Bishops' Conference, is one of the first German bishops to move from theory to practice.
Bishop Bode has never hidden his progressiveness throughout his years as bishop. Now, with the power and influence that comes from being vice president of the German bishops, this bishop calls for disobedience against the Vatican. The Osnabrück diocese is officially in absentia. We are going to tell you what this bishop has decided in his diocese after the German Synodal Assembly for which he should be dismissed ipso facto .
"New celebrations of blessings for marriages, baptisms also by lay people and women and men who preach at Mass: these are three of the concrete consequences that the resolutions of the synodal path of the Catholic Church in Germany will have for the diocese of Osnabrück", says the bishopric .
"The resolutions of the last synodal assemblies, which were supported by an overwhelming majority of bishops and laity, give us the impetus we need for concrete changes in our diocese," says Bishop Franz-Josef Bode of Osnabrück.
In addition, the vice president of the German bishops encourages "all couples in our diocese who cannot or do not want to get married in a church, but who still want their relationship to be blessed by the church, to contact us," Bishop Bode said. “ Gay couples or remarried and divorced couples can contact local pastoral workers, but they can also contact the diocese directly.

German Catholic priests causing problems again.
The funny thing is that nearly all homosexuals have ZERO interest in a “church blessing.”
Its all so absurd.
I can’t believe they no zip about the Bible. Man with man and
woman-————. These idiots trash our world.
Silence is what I most enjoy hearing from Bergoglio.
:-)
I am so glad my local church practices church discipline. The way God intended.
“And Bergoglio remains silent.”
Let’s face it. Bergoglio has no quarrel with any of this. Occasionally he pays lip service to some vague need to rein in the Krauts, but his heart is not in it. He has no problem whatsoever with what they’re doing nor with sodomy nor with sodomites. Above all, the man craves power and money. And in 2023, he recognizes that the Germans have money and that power in the world is on the side of the sodomites.
Maybe out of a thousand gay/lesbian couples...there might be one single couple with some nature to be ‘blessed’. But that’s it.
I fail to see what all the hype is about.
Perhaps this is the point where Catholic priests get the green light to marry and have same-sex situations?
If I was asked today for a short disctiption of Christianity, I think the answer would be something like:
A religion whose beliefs are like water and assume any and all shapes the adherents want, with only a few outliers.
I’m not asking: thank-you, though.
This should be the point where a Pope lays a smackdown on these Germans.
This should be the point where a Pope lays a smackdown on these Germans.
Who do you think is telling these people to say these things?
