Yep. Some folks lust for that which feeds their contrarian natures.

Well, would you include the apostle Paul in that “contrariain group.”
He was extremely contrary to false doctrine as you may know...as should those who are Jesus’ disciples.
We are called to defend the faith, once delivered to the saints, which includes ones senses being trained to discern Good and evil. During this present apostasy, those that are willfully ignorant of God’s word are easily deceived by showmanship.
My God does far better working and demonstrations of His power than Asbury.
