‘Love is everything’ wrote the Diocese of Aachen in a social media post promoting same-sex blessings in the diocese.
AACHEN, Germany (LifeSiteNews) –– The Catholic Diocese of Aachen has declared itself in favor of same-sex relationships and blessings, offering blessings to “all couples and newly in love” for the recent St. Valentine’s Day.
In a February 14 Facebook post, the traditional feast of St. Valentine, the Diocese of Aachen issued a welcome to “all couples and newly in love.”
The post read:
This goes out to all couples and newly in love:
We wish you a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
If you would like to have your love blessed: In the diocese of Aachen there are blessing celebrations or services in all regions. (Dates and locations in the story).
How do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? Just let us know in the comments
Accompanying the text was an image of two men caught in the act of kissing with the caption “Love is everything.”

Oh my Aachen Bach.
Remind me why followers of Christ should associate themselves with the purveyors of Satan’s heresy. Catholics today who want to follow Christ have to do it in spite of their church, not with it.
Besides being an atrocity and an insult to God, this is an in-your-face insult to St. Valentine, who was martyred for his secretly blessing real marriages.
How can that be? Such a thing goes against Christ’s teaching.

How long before women will be commonly accepted as “priests”?
Because “What’s a ‘woman’?”
Have some already snuck in?
Sure it is, I love sex, drugs, alcohol, porn, cookies, pies, salted pork, Captain Crunch, HoHos, Twinkies, Pop-Tarts, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Wendy's, Burger King and the rest.
I love them all which is why I try to avoid them. Well most of the time anyway.
Somehow, I have the feeling a lot of people are going to be shocked when they die and see Jesus, and find out He isn’t the soft-headed, senile, hairy, tooth-fairy they wanted Him to be.
Most progressive Catholics in my parish seem to think of God as some doddering, old duffer stumbling around on the clouds looking for the sandal for his left foot while a blue, cloth mask dangles uselessly from his right ear (think Biden in Birkenstocks). I try to be nice to them.
Jesus is kind, not nice. Kindest of all time. But definitely not ‘nice’ - at least in the modern sense of the term.
