This past Shabbat (Sabbath) was a dark day in American Jewish history. Once again — this time within Judaism — the rule that the Left destroys everything it touches was exemplified.
Twelve hundred American synagogues participated in "Repro-Shabbat." "Repro" is short for "reproductive rights." The idea, which originated with a left-wing organization called the National Conference of Jewish Women (NCJW), was to have as many synagogues as possible promote the idea that Judaism supports a woman's right to abort the child she is carrying at any time in her pregnancy and for any reason, that the human fetus is never a human being — even five minutes before it is born — and that it has no innate right to live.
That this is the position of the American Left is a given. That it is counter to science and to common decency is also a given — as is most of what the Left stands for: "Men give birth"; sexual identity is "nonbinary"; young children should attend drag queen events; a person's sex or "gender" is not a biological fact, but a subjective feeling; men who say they are women must be allowed to compete against women in sports and be placed with women in women's prisons; young girls who say they are boys and want their breasts surgically removed should have their breasts removed; boys and girls as young as elementary-school age who say they are not a boy or a girl must have this belief "affirmed" by schools, psychotherapists, physicians and society; and schools are duty bound not to inform these children's parents if their child identifies as the opposite sex at school and is treated as such there. These are among the many examples of left-wing nihilism.
And these are the positions of the NCJW. What is more disturbing, however, is that the NCJW and 1,200 synagogues regard the left-wing view of abortion — that it is never immoral — as the position of Judaism.
Unlike Christianity and Islam, which are religions only, Judaism is both a religion and a nation (or "people"). Therefore, to be considered a Christian one must affirm core Christian beliefs; and to be considered a Muslim one must affirm core Muslim beliefs. But Jewish beliefs do not determine who is a Jew. A person who is born to a Jewish mother (or in Reform Judaism, a Jewish father or mother) is a Jew no matter what he or she believes. One who is born a Jew can be an atheist or even a fascist or communist or work for Israel's destruction — and remain as much a Jew as the chief rabbi of Israel.
That explains Jewish groups like the NCJW. The only thing Jewish about the National Conference of Jewish Women is that it is composed of Jews. Sadly, this is increasingly the case with regard to most rabbis and synagogues within Reform and Conservative Judaism, the two major non-Orthodox Jewish denominations. They are Jews who hold left-wing values. Left-wing values — unlike liberal and conservative values — are antithetical to normative Jewish values (just as they are to normative Christian and normative Western values). The founders of Reform and Conservative Judaism would turn in their graves if they were to see what has happened to the movements they founded.
The NCJW is so far left that its website promoting "Repro-Shabbat" urges people "to use gender-neutral language (such as) 'people,' 'pregnant individuals,' or 'patients' rather than 'women,'" and "to say 'women and all people who can get pregnant.'"
And how's this for representing Judaism? The NCJW prepared a "Repro-Shabbat Playlist" on Spotify featuring such Jewish and holy songs as:
"Bitch" (Meredith Brooks).
"I Spent My Last $10 (On Birth Control & Beer)" (Two Nice Girls).
"Bodies" (Sex Pistols), whose lyrics deemed appropriate for Repro-Shabbat include "Ah! F--- this and f--- that. F--- it all, and f**k the f**king brat."
"I Luv Abortion" (Xiu Xiu): "When I look at my thighs, I see death / It is great, I love abortion!"
Wash It All Off (Foetus): "You've got Foetus on your breath / You've got Foetus on your breath / You've got Foetus on your breath / You've got Foetus on your breath."
And the NCJW advises the song, "F--- Men" (Ms. White) — perhaps to be sung while the Torah is being taken from the ark. Its refrain goes like this: "F--- men / You don't need those tears in your eyes / F--- men. You can tell him that it's too hard / And just leave him with a broken heart / And baby f--- men, f--- men, f--- men."
Non-Jews get a thoroughly perverted picture of Judaism as a result of the NCJW, the 1,200 synagogues and all the rabbis who went along with "Repro-Shabbat." Of course, Judaism, like every legal system, allows abortion to save the life of the mother, and various religious authorities have allowed it in cases of rape or incest. But Judaism has never held that all abortions at any stage of pregnancy are morally acceptable. In fact, Maimonides, the great philosopher and codifier of Jewish law, a man almost universally regarded as the greatest Jewish thinker since Moses, declared abortion "akin to murder."
Even an article on abortion in the largest left-wing Jewish periodical, The Forward (Aug. 1, 2018), acknowledged: "There are (no) halakhists (Jewish legal authorities) who permit abortion in all cases, i.e., that halakhah (Jewish law) is 'pro-choice'; a cursory look at any of the sources cited would show clearly that such a position is unsustainable."
If you ask any religious Jew, "What is the greatest Jewish sin?" he or she would almost definitely respond, "chillul HaShem" — the public desecration of God's name.
That is what the 1,200 synagogues who celebrated "Repro-Shabbat" engaged in. Non-Orthodox Judaism, like mainstream Protestantism and much of contemporary Catholicism, is dying. Killed by the destroyer of all good things: the Left.
The abomination of desolation?
Wow this is tragic.
Ever since the great multitude of the Exodus, the Jewish people have been afflicted — badly— by Enemies Within. These evil people do at least as much harm as isrsrl’s better- known external enemies. Wolves in Sherpa’ clothing, the camel in the tent, as it were.
It continues today and still the good Jews haven’t figured out how to deal with this difficult problem.
Moloch
Baal
Ashteroth
Athena
Venus
women's rights
right to choose
the ironically named "Planned Parenthood"
sexual freedom
National Conference of Jewish Women
Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (including United Methodists)
Today's political left talk like they're some new thing. There's nothing new under the sun.
These are synagogues from the Reform movement which is dying. They will be gone soon. Good riddance.
‘”Bodies” (Sex Pistols)’
Oh boy... apparently the dummies on the left didn’t notice that this was an ANTI-abortion song? I guess they assumed because it was written by Johnny Rotten it must be leftist, but no, Johnny Rotten is actually an individualist who thinks for himself and occasionally takes a swing at the left’s sacred cows as well.
I mean does this sound like Johnny Rotten was promoting abortion?:
“She was a no-one who killed her baby
She sent her letters from the country
She was an animal
She was a bloody disgrace”
“Body I’m not an animal
Mummy, mummy, mummy, I’m an abortion
Throbbing squirm, gurgling bloody mess
I’m not a discharge
I’m not a loss in protein
I’m not a throbbing squirm”
He writes lyrics from the perspective of the murdered child pleading to his “mummy” that he’s not an animal. Not exactly a “pro-choice” perspective there...
God bless Johnny Rotten.

Their ‘holy DemoRat Party’ and the ideology of leftism is their true religion. Abortion for the goyim’s but it’s probably very few Jewish women actually have abortions themselves.
In ancient times when they were worshipping ‘false gods’, sacrificing children to Moloch by burning while drums were beaten, horns blowing and singing to drown out the cries and howls of the children. It is in the Old Testament.
True that. Now it's done quietly in a "clinic". There's no longer a need to burn child bodies in Gehenna Valley (sometimes called Valley of Hinnom in the southeast portion of today's Old City Jerusalem) so that the winds carried the stench away from the city.
No one hears the cries of babies sacrificed today, not even during partial birth abortion (which still happens thousands of time per year). Part of the procedure involves the "nurse" holding the baby's arms and legs still while the head (the only portion still inside the "mother") is punctured with a sharp pointed suction tube to literally suck the baby's brains out.
Gosnell was the tip of the iceberg.
RE: These are synagogues from the Reform movement which is dying.
What are they exactly “Reforming” Judaism to?
“Twelve hundred American synagogues participated in ‘Repro-Shabbat.’ ‘Repro’ is short for ‘reproductive rights.’”
I was thinking “Repro” was short for “reprobate”.
i was subjected to a bat mitzvah speech on this gobbledygook. not one word from the bimah on need for birth control, the details of what is actually deemed acceptable acc to the halacha, etx. i left feeling very depressed.
In their mind, a social justice utopia. In reality, synagogues at 10% capacity and the congregants who are there are mostly women over 60.

The Torah’s 613 Mitzvos, Commandments, are divided into three basic categories: testimonies, statutes, and judgements. The last of these are civil laws which any society needs to survive—but these, too, are part of Torah.
Our reading this week begins, “These are the judgements which you will place before them…” [Ex. 21:1]. Rash”i (Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki) notes that this follows last week’s reading of the Ten Commandments (actually Aseres HaDibros, the “Ten Statements” containing fourteen Commandments), and says, “just as the first [Commandments] are from Sinai, so these are from Sinai.” One might imagine that the Torah’s civil laws were of human origin, lacking holiness, but the Torah ascribes them to the Divine Will, no less than the “Ten Statements” themselves.
What would be so wrong, though, if civil laws were left up to us to determine for ourselves? Actually, history is replete with examples of how so-called civil laws can be anything but civil.
The Medrash teaches that in the city of Sodom before its destruction, it was prohibited to take in or serve guests; they so coveted wealth that, by law, a stranger was to not to leave with property. And they deemed this civilized!
When I first learned this Medrash, I thought it hard to believe. But then I learned that the Greeks and Romans regarded charity as a weakness, as a negative behavior that encouraged further begging. Better, they thought, that one too weak to work, not to mention his wife and children, slowly starve. This went along with regarding slaughter as a form of entertainment, and leaving disabled (or female) infants to die as a method of “family planning.” The evil of the Sodomites seems tame by comparison.
Today is not so different. We see around us the contrast between the Torah’s laws, which are unchanging, and the result of judgements that change with popular sentiment. Just in the past few years, it has not only been deemed appropriate to mutilate and permanently disable children, but it is deemed “discriminatory” to refuse to do so.
And as if we needed further lessons in this, this Shabbos, when we read that our civil laws are determined by Torah and not by our own thinking, is being called “Repro Shabbat” in some circles. They do not, of course, mean actual reproduction—they mean quite the opposite. They are using this Shabbos to promote the “freedom” to deliberately, callously end a fetal life, as if this were a Jewish practice or value.
The idea that access to an elective procedure is a religious mandate is inherently nonsensical, but logic is not their strong suit. Neither, of course, is religious freedom. These are not the people who advocate for creative artists to be given free choice of which events to celebrate, in accordance with their beliefs. These are not the people who promote accommodations for those with holiday and Sabbath observances. They do not believe that Sabbath observance is a Jewish mandate, or that keeping Kosher is a Jewish mandate. But “access” to feticide? That, they say, is a Jewish mandate.
I’m sure it angers a reader or three that I would lampoon this idea, but when we consider the way “Repro Shabbat” mocks actual Judaism, damaging both the cause of religious freedom and the sanctity that Judaism gives to human life, it becomes necessary to speak up.
We have thousands of years of experience with other cultures proclaiming their “modern” values superior to Torah; in all cases, we look back upon their practices today as barbaric and primitive. So we need not guess how “Repro Shabbat” will be regarded in a century or two; history is merely repeating itself. That is cause for comfort, and for renewing our attachment to the Torah values that have clearly stood the test of time.

Nothing new.
If one reads the Old Testament, it is an history of the children of Abraham acting like humans; defying God. It’s in our nature to defy God. SIN is defying God, doing things differently than God commands.
Thousands of years ago, the Israelites, and later the Jews, pretty much constantly defied God, just like everyone else.
So much is expected of the Jews, as though they can resist sin better than anyone else. We see this same rejection of God’s word in ALL of society.
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But...
Then if this nation get those kinds of leaders, the people need to ask God for forgiveness like the Israelites used to.
Just my opinion, especially in light of the train wrecks and strange fires that have been occurring.
Speechless.
