I saw one of those commercials a while back, narrating the story of a family forced to leave their country for the usual reasons - political upheaval, criminality - showing the long lines of humanity trudging towards a better life. And then the final sentence of the narrator's voice, "Jesus was a refugee."
That told me all I need to know about who or what is behind this outfit.

Yeah, I saw that too. My immediate thought was that it was just another leftist front group but nice of Fox News to confirm it.
“Listen guys, Jesus gets lost in the abortion debate and actually wouldn’t really have an opinion on ripping out your baby one limb at a time into a garbage bag.” Pfft.

For too many preachers, religion is a business, and they want to maximize customers. A big customer base is people who want to feel good about themselves, rather than doing the difficult task of living by scripture.

That “Jesus was a refugee” crap is infuriating. He WAS NOT a refugee, and anyone who says that doesn’t know enough about Christianity to even call themselves Christian.

Spot on.
Evil leftist use of Christianity for sheep to be sympathetic and nod along.

That's the one that turned me off, too. The family went to Bethlehem to pay taxes, not to flee political upheaval. Jesus chose to travel to Jerusalem to face political upheaval, not run from it. Jesus was no refugee.

"Jesus was a refugee." Joseph took his family to another kingdom, fleeing a direct personal threat on Jesus' life.
