This is the Church, not a sect. It does not change if its leader changes, it does not care for “the spirit of the time”, it does not pledge unalloyed allegiance to any human.

That’ll put a spring in one’s step. Not only seminarians, but a good chunk of priests and perhaps more bishops than we may think are not particularly rallied by a trumpet that sounds boisterous but hardly certain.
