On the afternoon of Wednesday, January 25, a jihadist killed a sacristan and seriously injured a priest in an attack against several churches in Algeciras, in Cádiz.
The information that has been published so far reveals that the sacristan of the Church of La Palma, Diego Valencia, who died on the spot, and the priest Antonio Rodríguez, parish priest of the Church of San Isidro in Algeciras (Cádiz) – were in the vicinity of the Plaza Alta, which separates the two temples by about 300 meters, when they have been attacked by a 25-year-old North African man whom they have identified as Yassine Kanjaa.
