Good point. He’s invading because Russia needs the food, industry, and manpower because its population is crumbling.
A friend with a lot of background on Russia says they are weak because Putin has eliminated any possible opposition and they have no leaders to call on. He’s even throwing his own cronies off balconies if they imply any criticism.
