Texas Right to Life commented that 'lives are being saved at unprecedented levels' due to the Lone Star state's pro-life laws.
(LifeSiteNews) — Recently released data shows that abortions committed in the state of Texas have decreased by 97 percent since the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
Based on data reported by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, 68 total abortions were committed in the month of July in Texas compared to the 2,533 babies who were killed in January.
Although the number of abortions reached slightly more than 3,000 during the months of March and April, the statistics show that numbers steadily decreased beginning in May. There were 2,596 fewer abortions committed in July than there were in June.
Of the women who sought abortions between January and July, less than 100 were married. Sixty of the 68 unborn babies who were killed in July were the children of unmarried women.
Most of the abortions committed during these seven months ended the lives of babies at up to eight weeks’ gestation. Two were committed on babies at 9-10 weeks gestation, one at 11-12 weeks, two at 13-14 weeks, four at 15-16 weeks, and five at 17-20 weeks. No babies were killed past 21 weeks. Most of these abortions were non-surgical.
The last section of the data detailed how many abortions were committed “due to a medical emergency or [the] woman’s health.” From January to July, 15 abortions were committed for a combination of a medical emergency and the health of the mother.
However, 2,533 babies were killed for neither reason in January. Similarly, 2,596 were aborted for neither reason in June, while 67 were victims of the same fate in July.
“Overall, July’s data reveal the success of our Pro-Life laws,” Texas Right to Life wrote in a.....

Praise God and Texas
Halleluyah!!!
This is what happens when God’s people don’t give up.
Now the rest of America.
God bless Texas.
Good. And FJB
It’s like September 11th… in reverse every five weeks down there.
Amazing.
You said it!
And Trump.
Even turtle.
A fine example of the good McTurtle could do if he weren’t severely compromised and cowardly.
I’m guessing prolife propaganda unfortunately. I don’t believe anything coming from any institution anymore. Both sides lie and cover it up with more lies.
Murder prevention works. Praise Jesus.
It’s great they stopped happening in Texas, the question is did people just go to another state to get it done.
I’d like to know the numbers in LA, NM, OK,AR to compare.
almost 2500-3000 babies EACH MONTH are now NOT aborted thanks to the ban on abortion- 2500-3000 lives that are now free to make their own decisions in life instead of being slaughtered without their consent by their despicably selfish parents-
Good point.
I have never seen a more pointless comment on this forum. You should have read the article before posting. It links directly to the State of Texas data. In all seriousness, if you don't believe anything from any institution, why do you read or comment on anything? It's a waste of time given your level of hopeless cynicism.
Government data.. so you believe data you want to believe in and rally against data you don’t want to believe in.
I trust nothing the federal or state governments say unless it can be verified by several independent trustworthy sources. Having worked in or for government for 38 years I’ve seen it first hand. The manipulation of data to get the desired outcome is rampant. Guess you forgot about the elections, economy, climate change, covid to name a few.
90% of people on this forum is commenting or posting on the lies of the government.
Adding this to your previous post, it sounds like you don't believe anything from anybody.

If this is true, and you didn't do anything to solve or expose it, you are the problem you complain about.
.....it sounds like you don’t believe anything from anybody.
I never said that, that’s just something you made up to fit whatever narrative you’re trying to make. I specifically stated I trust nothing from federal or state governments without being able to verify it and then offered several examples as to why. Again, this is probably what the majority of the postings here on FR are about.
As for your other comment, you have no idea what I did or didn’t do while working in or for so your comment is conjecture at best.
