KJV is my preference. I’ve never picked up the “Clear Word” translation in my life and have no need to ever do so.

Ditto for me. Those Brand X Bibles are offensive. Never even heard of Clear Word. Hubby reads another version when it’s his turn to read in our devotions and I can’t connect.
