To: Hebrews 11:6

What a difficult scene to depict on canvas — so much going on. Others are touching, jostling Jesus and the disciples. Surely she’s not the only one who reached for his cloak, yet she is the one Jesus responded to and healed — for her faith.

He could have just healed her without comment. Who knows how often that happened (John 21:25). Here he purposefully made a public display of her act of faith amidst a crowd, as Tissot portrays. Thus my vote for no. 1!

Well-reasoned and -argued, nicollo.

We can presume with a very high confidence, I think, that she will be with us in heaven. Therefore, we shall be privileged to ask her all about this famous incident.

But I contend that all of us have numerous such stories to tell, and in heaven we shall spend “eons” telling them to others who are fascinated to hear them. And God will be praised o’er and o’er.
