Happy Thanksgiving Day to you Dan; and a joyful ‘family together day’ to each of you.
How wonderfully appropriate, that you would choose this topic today;
This woman was disrespected, and maybe even shunned in her village- women usually drew water in the morning- but she came to the well late in the day.
Were we any different from her? Rebellious lawbreakers in the eyes of our distant God; but He called us out, and saved us, on our ‘Thanksgiving Day’
Thank You Dan =:^)

The basis for societal disrespect and shunning is shifting radically and rapidly. I still have my 1959 Little League Directory. There were 240 boys, so perhaps 150-180 families were listed. With but a single exception, every family lists two married parents.
