Even here, in the US... I think there are people who would rather have a ‘righteous’ king or dictator than a democratically elected government run by those they consider sinful and immoral.
There's more than that. The Putinist is not concerned with genuine Christianity. They put on the clothes of religion, but at the heart of it, they want a dictator to murder all the people they want dead, who they feel resentment against.
