I know only a little of this but the Druids are falsely credited with being first at Stonehenge.
There were posts erected in the Mesolithic period, between 8500 and 7000 BC. Followed by the current remains of another phase around 5000 BC.
In any event, the Bible tells us to shun all these pagans today.
Leviticus 19:31 “Do not defile yourselves by turning to mediums or to those who consult the spirits of the dead. I am the LORD your God.
Leviticus 20:27 “‘A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.’”
Deuteronomy 18:10-14 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.
Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD; because of these same detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you.
You must be blameless before the LORD your God. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so.
Isaiah 8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
Proverbs 3:5-7 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.
I was being sarcastic in the earlier post. I’m not sure there is even one authenticated page from the ancient Druids. I don’t even know if they kept written records.
Others wrote about them, including Julius Caesar. He said human sacrifice by burning alive was important to them.
As far as I’m concerned, Druids of old and any modern imitators are simply tools of Satan.
