Definitely an act of courage on the part of the good priest; however, the story states he is retired, so the bishop has relatively less leverage over him. On the other hand, I know well a young and very orthodox young priest who condemned homosexuality in a homily during his first assignment out of the seminary. He refused to recant his position and was suspended by from his ministry for a few years by the bishop at the time. Fortunately, he is back in good standing with the diocese under a new bishop. I think that took even more fortitude than Fr. Sheshy showed.

This is happening at basically every church in America and probably the UK.

The gays have seized control at the top levels of many churches. (Bishop/Cardinal/priests/parsons/pastors)

They no longer are subtle about controlling sermons, services masses and whatever is said in their churches.

The UK/Anglican church is basically on its last legs and will probably be announced as officially dead in 10-20 years.

How many American churches are into or heading into their death days.

My wife had a friend back in the midwest die this summer. She was a loyal catholic and so was/is her family. The church is yoked with another local Catholic church sharing a priest and trying to stay open. It took close to 3 weeks to get the funeral scheduled and held in the lady’s hometown church. Non family attendance was minimal at the funeral.

Many of our churches are barely keeping their doors open.

How many churches are focusing on the 3-4% gay population and basically ignoring the 97% of non gay people?

He wants to “marry” his boyfriend, probably another fake priest. It’ll be a double “wedding” the second couple being Miss Jamie Martin tying the knot with Georgiana Bergoglio.
