You are assuming Russia is Magog. Could be an east asian horde headed by China.. Could be an islamic horde with Turkey at the head of turkic horde from central Asia
While I’m against provoking then, their alliance with Iran, plus decades of support for the PLO, Syria’s (dead) Assad, Libya make them a pretty good candidate.
