"Jesus began by telling them, “See to it that no one deceives you. Many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, as well as famines. These are the beginning of birth pains." - Mark 13:5-8

It's sad that Jews who've studied and know scripture have rejected or perverted OT scripture that reveal Jesus the Christ. They did the same to Jesus in Jesus' day.

Joseph is a type of Christ in the OT. In Egypt (gentiles) Joseph's brothers did not recognize their brother - the one they persecuted and abused until the day came when their eyes were opened. The day will come when Israel as a whole will recognize the one they rejected and cast out and they will weep. Just as Joseph loved and embraced the brothers who abused him - Jesus will weep with and embrace his children Israel - when they come to know Him.

They will soon, one day (as a nation) receive the very One they rejected 2,000 years ago.

Not much more than seven years into the future would be my guess.

Zechariah 13:

6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
