Lord, You always have the Words of Eternal Light and Life.

Thank you for speaking Your Word to us.

Thank you for this beautiful prayer. I don’t remember reading or having anyone teach Amos 8:11. Our heartcry for our families and citizenry are wrapped up perfectly in this promise of our Father. Amen.

And Dear LORD, we return again to this promise, this verse for our Nation as a whole: “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord GOD, “When I will send hunger over the land, not hunger for bread or a thirst for water, but rather a hunger for hearing the words of the LORD.” (Amos 8:11) We know, Dear LORD, that the worldly ruling bodies and how they are manipulating our country and destroying our economy are as it was in the past: You took counsel against me for evil, but God took counsel for me for good, that the matter might be as it is to-day, and much people might be fed.” Oh we pray: TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD, BLESSED IS THE ONE WHO TAKES REFUGE IN HIM. AMEN!
