Somehow I find it easy to imagine this “Pope” bowing to The Butchers of Beijing. So the “Catholic” Church in China will teach that one must fight the Yankee Imperialists...drive out the revolution's traitors ruling Taiwan,etc.

“the Chinese have this sense of time…”” What rubbish. Where was their “sense of time when they killed millions of their own people due to the hasty and catastrophic “Great Leap Forward?” How about the equally ill-advised and impulsively rushed Cultural Revolution? This was a conceit made popular by Kissinger who complimented the Chinese and sought to butter them up. Pope Bergoglio is just toadying up to his soul mates in Peking.
