Really?
2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God

II Thess:1-4.

You should have posted the passage further, which shows that something/someone must be taken out of the way before the antichrist can be revealed. That puts a different meaning on verse three, where the word departure was used in the earliest English translations. Someone or something must depart from restraining the antichrist. indications are that the something/someone is the presence of the Holy Spirit in believers. The Rapture will remove the restraints on satan's man.

The Rapture removal of believers refers first to the instantaneous transformation of the mortal into imortality, then we shall in our new glorified bodies rise up to meet our Lord int he air and return to the Father's House.

I am convinced that the instantaneous transformation happens because the shout mentioned in I Thess 4 resonates with the Presence of the Holy Spirit in our born again spirit. ONLY the saved/born again have the Holy Spirit abiding in their cleansed spirit (1 John 3:9). Even dead Christians have the Holy Spirit in their newborn spirit.
