Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem
Exodus 7
Aaron’s Staff Becomes a Snake
8 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 9 “When Pharaoh says to you, ‘Perform a miracle,’ then say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh,’ and it will become a snake.”
10 So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the Lord commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake. 11 Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts: 12 Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs. 13 Yet Pharaoh’s heart became hard and he would not listen to them, just as the Lord had said.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem
Our Father,
Who Art In Heaven,
How Blessed and Glorious is Your Most Wonderful and Holy Name!
You Made Us,
and Everything there is,
For Your Are The Creator
The Only One.
Nothing Happens without Your Notice, Abba.
You know How many hairs are on my head,
How many cells in my body.
Nothing is Impossible for You.
Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.
Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.
This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.
God Bless America.

Just as the Queen of England has a number of ceremonial crowns for different occasions of State, so did the Ancient Kings and Queens of Egypt have a number of different crowns for different ceremonies. The White Crown (Hedjet) looked like the SNL Conehead character. It represented Upper Egypt, which was "Upper" only because it was where the Nile flowed from. That would have made it South, as the Nile flows from South to North.
The Red Crown (Deshret) looked like a scooped-out bucket seat, and represented Lower Egypt, where the Nile empties into the Mediterranean to the North. At one time these were two different kingdoms.
One of the most important events in the political history of Ancient Egypt was the Unification of Upper and Lower Egypt under one king. It is commemorated in stone.
The Unification necessitated the design of a new crown, which is the Red and White Crown pictured above (Pschent). The Conehead fits perfectly into the Bucket Seat.
There was also a War Crown (Khepresh), which was a closely fitted helmet, a Religious Ceremony Crown (Atef), and the Familiar "King Tut" Crown (Nemes), which, in my opinion, resembles a farmer's sweat-rag made of striped cloth. Since the Pharaoh was worshipped as a god, and was responsible for the fertility of the Land, the idea of a farmer's sweat-rag is not too far-fetched. (Thanks to Wikipedia for this information and picture).
There is one thing common to all the crowns. Each one has a Cobra coiled up on the forehead, ready to strike. The symbol was included on the Political Crowns, the Battle Crown, the Religious Crown, and the Fertility Crown. One could infer that the Snake was the most powerful figure in Egyptian Mythology. One of the "science" narratives was that the Sun traveled through the body of a giant cobra at night, only to emerge victorious every morning. It was Pharaoh's job to keep even THIS astronomic cycle on schedule. He certainly had his hands full.
Big snakes are certainly a frightening thing. My beloved Everglades have, in the last few decades, been invaded by Giant Burmese Pythons. The did not swim here from Burma. They were "pets" that got too big to handle and were released into the wild. They are now eating the native species, including the Alligators. I'm not making this up. More than once, a snake has been opened up to find an alligator inside.
Because of the different Hebrew words used for the "snake" from Moses's Staff and the "serpent" from Aaron's staff, some scholars speculate that Aaron's staff turned into a crocodile that devoured the magicians' snakes. While this would be yet another judgement upon the gods of Egypt (they also worshipped the crocodile), it doesn't make sense to me. I believe that the reptiles were all snakes, albeit One being more powerful than all the others. Tis is consistant with the rest of Scripture, from the Serpent in the Garden, to Aaron's Staff, to Nehushtan (the snake on the pole that provided healing), to finally, Jesus's statement that He himself would be raised up just like nehushtan was. This is the verse directly before the famous John 3:16:
John 3:14–15
English Standard Version
14 And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.
Jesus was using a metaphor that He KNEW Nicodemus, a Bible Scholar, would recognize. The incident in the Book of Numbers with the Snake on the Staff was a picture of Jesus being lifted up on a Cross, reviled, despised, and rejected of men, to bring Eternal Life and Healing to us all... and, one day, he shall be crowned with Many Crowns, the Lamb Upon The Throne.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
"He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification." (Romans 4:25)
God Bless America.
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
Hallelujah and Amen

Psalm 93
1 The Lord is king, he is robed in majesty;
the Lord is robed, he is girded with strength.
He has established the world; it shall never be moved;
2 your throne is established from of old;
you are from everlasting.
3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord,
the floods have lifted up their voice;
the floods lift up their roaring.
4 More majestic than the thunders of mighty waters,
more majestic than the waves* of the sea,
majestic on high is the Lord!
5 Your decrees are very sure;
holiness befits your house,
O Lord, for evermore.
