I became a Christian at 9 thanks to my best friend and Sunday School classes on the Bible make a lasting impact.

Daniel always stood out - not only as a prophet but showing strength & faith in the lions’ den.

That image always gave me hope & strength in times of crisis and hopelessness including losing my wife (literally the girl next door) to breast cancer at 28.

Thanks for your powerful testimony.

Once we reach that chapter, we’ll have three days with Daniel in the lions’ den: Daniel with the lions, Daniel praying, and Daniel with the angel.

My heart goes out to you. Such a loss bring pain and grief that we are then challenged to work through. Tough stuff and difficult, but we come out better on the other side.

I'm in the process of losing my wife and family (in another way). Long story but a source of comfort for me and maybe you is Paul's testimony in Philippians about his losses.

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yes doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: that I may know him...
Phil. 3:7-10.

I believe the Lord gives to us, but Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. And who does Satan target? Those like Job and maybe you and I who have a heart for God.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Rom. 8:18.

With tears I say your wife waits for you and you will know Jesus in a way you may otherwise never have been able.

God bless you.
