#2 by Ugolino di Nerio, a 14th c. artist from Siena, very influenced by Duccio. Spiritual and elegant style. The Latin inscription on the scroll translates, “stone was cut out of the mountain without hands.”

Thanks, Alba! Usually, I don’t post “tributes” like this and stick to illustrating the text. But in doing that for all of Daniel’s stories, I came across such an interesting variety—these—that I caved in.
I am partial to #15, Aringay’s fenster. This Filipino church dazzles me with its windows.
