I’m not clear on the “paid in advance” aspects, but the “provisions on one’s plate” (regardless of payment) is fascinating.

When I make the point that it is paid for in advance that means you don’t have to wait for them to meet your need, they have it already prepared for you to receive when you need instead of having to wait on them to meet your need.
