I love bagpipes and I went to see the Scots Highlanders ... it was outstanding!

I remember reading once that, while in N. Africa, Gen. Montgomery told Churchill, ‘I need another tank regiment ...or else, 5 more pipers.’

It was very stirring and I never saw so much spit and polish in my life.

Some of the men in the audience showed up with kilts too.

I do not find kilts effeminate. And while I am no Islam fan I have no issue with the “dresses” men in the Middle East wear - I think they are called kaffirs? It is the customary dress and I don’t find it gives a feminine look nor is it intended to.
