Catholic: Salvation through faith and works.
Protestant: Salvation through faith alone.
Episcopalian: Salvation through good taste.
SCOTUS Justice Neil Gorsuch grew up Catholic but married an Episcopalian (she was formerly Church of England - a sister denomination). And together they were members of a very liberal ePiss church in Boulder, that was vocally into gun control, the Greenie's climate agenda, and other libbie political issues. Gorsuch also had an Episco uncle.
That's why many conservatives were worried that Trump hadn't done his homework thoroughly and was unwittingly foisting another Souter/Manchurian-Cand on us at the time of N.G.'s nomination.
I think many are breathing a sigh of relief now.
