Unlike Abortion, most societal sins aren’t supported by politicians.

No one I know is advocating to make murder acceptable in society.

The closest might be DA’s who refuse to prosecute. But even that is a stretch to say that those DA’s sole motivation is advocating for more crimes, even though that is the outcome of their policies.

Not for nothing, but if Bishop Wall knowingly promotes and disseminates the so-called “Seamless Garment” propaganda, his Good Guy credentials are going to need a good looking at.

It’s one thing to commit a sin (we all do it sooner or later and most atone for it) it’s another thing to advocate it, support it and promote it - as “Catholic” Pelosi and Biden are doing.

“As abortion is one of the few sins that carries an automatic excommunication (Canon 1398), there is no doubt that a politician who actively protects abortion and strives to make it more accessible also risks his or her salvation,” Bishop Wall added. “It surely is not ‘expansive’ to put this evil in the category of grave sin.”

A question from a non-Catholic: are women who had abortions allowed to repent and regain their statuses as Catholics?

"... and it would be “misleading” to present abortion and euthanasia as “the only grave matters of Catholic moral and social teaching that demand the fullest level of accountability on the part of Catholics.”

Fine, just remember that the lie regarding "man-made global warming" is NOT Doctrine.

Stick to Doctrine and leave the "social justice" agenda alone.

He is indeed! My husband and I feel blessed to have had him as our pastor in Phoenix for several years. We were hoping he would be named to succeed Bishop Olmsted.

That’s a fair enough question. Until they say “evils like capitalism”...

I wish he wouldn’t use “eucharistic sanctions” and start using “Church Discipline.” Throw them out of the church, period.

Bishop James Wall is one of the Good Guys.

That's why he's not a Frankencardinal, like Cupich, Wilting, McElroy or Nighty-Nite.

When will they bar Biden from receiving Communion? What is good for Nancy is good for Joe.
